Psychometric tests are specially designed and validated assessment exercises which assist in matching the job applicant with the job requirements. Psychometric tests are also used for human resources and career development. We offer psychometric testing in the following categories
Cognitive Ability / Intelligence / Aptitude Assessment
These tests assist in assessing general intelligence and specific occupational aptitudes. We have several tests in our test bank and the choice of a test or a group test depends of the job or position for which the candidate is being assessed for. With this knowledge, one can predict the candidate’s potential and future job performance.
Emotional Intelligence
The ability to perceive emotional states in self and others, and utilising emotional knowledge for decision-making has become a critical success factor in managing and leading teams and individuals for maximum performance. We use emotional intelligence assessment tools to measure the ability to perceive emotions in self and others, the ability to manage own and others’ emotions and the ability to use all this emotional information to make decisions about situations.
Assessment Centres
Assessment Centres are job simulation exercises designed for selection, coaching, leadership development and succession planning at management and senior management levels. Assessment centers utilize assessment methods like, but not limited to, in-tray exercises, business presentations, leaderless group discussions, group exercises, and role-plays.
Occupational Interest Assessment
Mostly utilized in graduate and management trainee selection, these tests are used to assess job applicants’ interests in the position or job applied for. This information assists both the job applicant and the recruiting organization to make informed decisions about the job applicant’s career interest. We also use Occupational Interest assessments to assist students at secondary school and university/college levels with career guidance, coaching and counselling.
Personality and Behavioral Assessment
We use personality and behavioral assessment tools to measure preferred job behavioral styles. These tests are useful where behavioral competencies and traits which include, but not limited to extraversion, judgement, tough-mindedness, conflict management, teamwork, execution, self-discipline, independence, dominance, leadership potential, assertiveness and personal composure are key success factors for maximum job performance.
